♦ Biochim. Sucre naturel contenu dans de nombreuses baies et graines. Le mannose est un isomère du fructose et du glucose.

● mannose nom masculin Aldohexose, épimère du glucose. (Le D-mannose s'obtient, à côté du fructose, par oxydation du mannitol.)
